Easy Strawberry Pie

    Ingredients:

    2 pints strawberries
    1/2 C sugar
    3 T corn starch
    1 baked pie shell or graham cracker crust

    Preparation:

    Crush 1 pint strawberries and place in a saucepan.
    Add sugar and corn starch. Stir and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute.
    While mixture cools, slice remaining pint of berries and place in pie shell.
    Pour cooked berries on top and refrigerate until ready to serve.
    If desired, garnish pie with whipped topping before serving.

    T = Tablespoon
    t  = teaspoon
    C = cup
