Sweet & Sour Meatballs

      Ingredients:

      1 pound lean ground beef
      1 envelope dry onion-soup mix
      1 egg
      1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
      1 (16-ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce

      Preparation:

      Step one-- Combine beef, soup mix and egg. Form into tiny meatballs. Brown in skillet;
      discard all but 1 Tblsp fat.

      Step 2-- Combine tomato sauce and cranberry sauce with reserved Tblsp of fat from
      meat in saucepan. Heat; add meatballs. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour. Serve with
      toothpicks.

      Note: These can be prepared ahead of time and reheated when ready to use.
