Peaches in Custard Sauce

      Ingredients:

      1 (1-pound) can sliced cling peaches, drained
      1-2/3 C evaporated milk
      1 (3-1/2-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
      1/2 C water
      1/8 t. nutmeg

      Preparation:

      Drain peaches well. Cut into chunks.
      Place evaporated milk and water in mixing bowl.
      Add nutmeg and pudding mix. Beat slowly until smooth.
      Stir in peaches. Chill thoroughly before serving.

      Note: I like to serve this in fancy stemmed glasses ... just for fun.

      T = Tablespoon
      t  = teaspoon
      C = cup
