Now. A little bit about us. We were married in Helen, Georgia--also known as Alpine Helen, a unique Bavarian style village nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River. It was a special ceremony in a beautiful gazebo with church bells ringing in the background.  We enjoy going back there every chance we get.   If you've never visited Helen, you just can't know what you are missing!  Check it out and plan a trip there soon.   Our dream is to someday buy a vacation home there or maybe somewhere on water.    Or maybe both.

The book I am currently reading  is "Speak Lord, I'm Listening" by Larry Kreider.   It was a Christmas gift and it has a message I really needed to hear; how to hear God's voice above the noise.

My favorite singer is still George Strait, of course.   I've been in love with him since the first time I watched ... uh, meant to say heard him sing ;-) and he still makes me smile.  We saw him in concert in Orlando, FL in September '96, Charleston, SC February '07, and Duluth, GA January '08 (and this time we had floor seats and I went right up to the stage!    Oh. My. Gosh.) and he was awesome everytime!!!  And yeppers, I did get a shot of those Wrangler jeans!   Woohoo!! ;-)  Lookahere!     I hope to see him at least once in 2009, if not twice.
