Baked Apples
      serves 4 - 8

      This is one recipe where I made an exception about the hard to find ingredients
      (Fage Greek yogurt with honey) but it sounds so good
      I think it might be worth the
      extra trouble to find Fage Greek yogurt with honey.

      Ingredients:

      4 Golden Delicious Apples  (8 - 10 oz each)
      1/3 C. sugar
      1/2 C. glazed pecans, chopped fine
      2 containers (5.3 oz each) Fage Greek yogurt with honey


      Directions:

       Place oven rack to middle position.  Heat to 450.
       Line rimmed baking sheet w/foil for easy clean-up.
       Halve apples lengthwise, remove core w/paring knife. 
       Dip cut side of apples in sugar.
       Heat a 12" nonstick skillet over medium high heat. 
      Add apples, sugar side down.  Cook 2 minutes or until sugar starts to caramelize. 
      Transfer (with cut sides down) to lined baking sheet.
       Bake 10 minutes or until tender when pierced.
       Place 2 apple halves on each dessert plate. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. 
       Divide yogurt on the 4 plates, drizzle all with honey.  Serve warm.
