HI I'M DAN

 

I'm 44  years old,  and moved to Dublin, Georgia in 1998. Currently I am the network administrator for Electro-Mech Scoreboard Co. located in Wrightsville Ga.






   

My son, Brandon, age 12, lives with his mother in Hiram, Georgia. He is currently attending the seventh grade and is quite your typical 12 year old.  Some of his favorite activities are: watching cartoons, playing video games, boy scouts, soccer and swimming.

My wife Kay is quite a special lady,  we bowl together, take trips together and she is quite the internet surfer.  Needless to say, she is my best friend and the love of my life.   Click here to check out Kay's website.

Kay and I live on three acres in the country just outside of Dublin.  From our office window we have the prettiest view of the lake in the front yard.   I think Kay decided there was a bit too much city in me so now I reside in the country about 20 minutes from town.   The nearest store is about a 20 minute drive.  I'm adjusting well I think. 

For those who ask if there are fish in the lake.  Well what do ya think?  This is a large mouth bass, caught on August  31, 1999.  I did not weight the bass but it was appx. 24 inches long.  After the photo session I released it back into the lake for another day.  I will tell you,  this isn't the grand daddy.

My favorite activities include: traveling, fishing, all water sports including scuba diving, dining out, dancing and sometimes just being downright lazy.  I am a fairly good cook but rarely just cook for myself.  I find it easier to go out but don't mind if I have company or am entertaining.  I love computers and use them both for recreation and business. 

My past jobs have included 10 years in the United States Navy as an Electricians Mate.   I served 3 years aboard the U.S.S. Nimitz (Aircraft Carrier CVN-68), 3 years aboard the U.S.S. Moosbrugger   (Destroyer DD-980) and 2 years as a Navy Recruiter in Pampa, Texas. After leaving the Navy I worked for a Chemical Manufacturer in Cartersville and then a Steel Fabrication Manufacturer in Acworth, Georgia (as a Maintenance Supervisor in both facilities).  I then moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a short period of time where I was the District Manager for a water vending company.  Now I am here in Dublin, Georgia as a manufacturing consultant and technical writer.  I have had the opportunity to travel quite extensively and my favorite places   are: Charleston, S.C., Atlanta, Ga, Maine, Southern California, U.S. Virgin Islands, Balearic Islands (Mediterranean), Florida, Texas and New York City.
